The Great Ocean Road Running Festival returns to Lorne and Apollo Bay in 2027, giving participants the opportunity to run or walk along one of Australia’s most spectacular stretches of coastline.

With the Southern Ocean beside you and the iconic Great Ocean Road closed to traffic, it’s an unforgettable challenge — and an opportunity to make your kilometres mean even more by fundraising for Cystic Fibrosis South Australia.

The weekend also includes festival activities such as live music, yoga and family-friendly entertainment, making it much more than just race day.

People with CF are living longer and healthier lives thanks to incredible advances in treatment and care.

Ongoing treatment, appointments, hospital stays and the everyday impact of managing CF continue to affect people and families in different ways.
